Attleborough Sports JFC was formed by a group of parents (Pete Malbasa, Dave Morris, Gary Sharp, Steve Brough) in 2001. The club joined the Nuneaton & Bedworth Minor Football League (N&BMFL) season 2001/2 with just an U13 Boys team.
In 2002 Attleborough Sports JFC became only the second club in Nuneaton to be awarded FA Charter Standard Club status.
The Club has grown each year since and the 2007/8 season sees U9, U10, U11, U12, U13 Hawks, U13 Hurricanes and U16 Boys teams playing in the N&BMFL.
A girls section was formed in 2004 under the guidance of Tam Curran and Mick Arthur, initially playing in the Nuneaton & Bedworth Girls League and then moving to the Leicester City ∓ County Girls league in 2006. In the same year ASJFC formed an U12 Girls team who joined the Coventry Girls League.
Under the management of Gary Sharp the original U13 Boys team progressed through the junior league and became the club's Adult team in the Nuneaton & District Sunday League (NDSL) in 2005/6.
Each year the club has looked to develop teams at the younger agegroups by holding summer schools on the sports ground.
In 2007 the club had its Charter Standard status renewed.
Season 2007/08 saw a very successful end to U16 boys and girls teams. Rather than lose touch with girls football Tam Curran started up younger girls training at U8/U9, which has lead to U10 girls team in 2009/10 season.
